Bachelor of Business Program
Bachelor of Business program (S1 Bisnis) is one of the leading undergraduate programs in IPB University. The degree designed to respond the demands of the nation and the market for capable entrepreneurs who will professionally and sustainably managing abundance of resources in agriculture, marine, and tropical bio-science sectors of Indonesia. Current Indonesia’s number of entrepreneurs in agriculture-, marine-, and tropical bio-science-based business and industry still low comparing to the require numbers to lead the nation into a developed country. Besides of comprehensive and implementative science to prepare students for becoming an entrepreneurs, the students need to be convinced that business as a promising career path. Hence, in the educational process of this major, students are encouraged to establish and run a real business.
Candidates who will register for this program should be Indonesian citizens or foreigners that has graduated from high school, national or international. The requirements for registration generally are as follow:
- Fulfill the standard requirements of SNMPTN, SBMPTN, UTM, BUD and PIN
- Physically and mentally healthy
- Free from drug using
- Willing to take part in the Special Orientation Program held by the School of Business IPB University
Admission of new students for undergraduate programs in IPB University carried out with the principle of education for everyone through 7 (seven) method as follow:
- Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN);
- Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN);
- High school graduates which owned international or national achievements (PIN), including Hafidz Quran;
- Seleksi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Beasiswa Utusan Daerah (BUD);
- Ujian Talenta Masuk (UTM) IPB, since 2019/2020 implement computer-based test (UTM-BK);
- Program Ketua OSIS;
- Program Afirmasi.
