Business School Holds Welcoming Dinner for SBD 2025

(Bogor, 3/8/2025) IPB Business School held a Welcoming Dinner for Sustainable Business Development (SBD) 2025 as part of the 2025 Sustainable Business Development (SBD) Summer Course. This year’s SBD theme was “Sustainable Food System: Synergy between Business and Technology.” SBD 2025 was held on August 3, 2025, and ended in a hybrid format at IPB Business School. The event involved co-host universities from eight countries: IPB University, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Swedish), Adam Smith Business School (UK), Kirirom Institute of Technology (Cambodia), Warsaw University of Life Sciences (Poland), Universiti Sains Malaysia, Texas A&M University (USA), Universiti Putra Malaysia, and the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). This year’s event was attended by 26 participants, 16 of whom were foreign and 10 Indonesian.

The SBD 2025 Welcoming Dinner began with a speech by Khairiyah Kamilah S.E., M.Si. as the Vice President of the Summer Course Committee for Sustainable Business Development (SBD) 2025. Also present at the event were Dr. Linda Karlina Sari S.Stat., M.Si (Vice President of SBD 2025), Dr. Mazzlida Mat Deli (Lecturer of Management at the UKM-Graduate School of Business, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia). The event ended with a cultural exchange between participants made per group.
