School of Business IPB University Faculty Members Secure IPB Excellence Research Grants for 2026
Bogor — Several faculty members from the School of Business IPB University have successfully secured funding under the 2026 IPB Excellence Research Grant Program. This achievement reflects the School of Business IPB University’s commitment to advancing innovative, relevant, and impactful research that contributes to society, industry, and sustainable development.
The accomplishment highlights the active contribution of SB IPB University’s academic community in producing research that addresses social, economic, and environmental challenges through practical scientific approaches. The diverse research topics also demonstrate the researchers’ strong engagement with strategic issues, including digital transformation, sustainable finance, circular economy, and agribusiness development.
Under the Regular Early-Career Faculty Research Scheme, several faculty members received funding for a range of research projects. Sendy Watazawwadu’ilmi, S.E., M.M. examines the implications of Buy Now Pay Later services on financial vulnerability and sustainable digital finance in Indonesia. Dr. Raden Trizaldi Prima Alamsyah, S.Agr., M.Agr. investigates risk prediction models for green financing feasibility among banana agribusiness MSMEs, while Anggi Mayang Sari, S.Si., M.B.A. explores behavioral biases and challenges in the adoption of digital financial services among low-income communities.
Additional funded research includes a study by Dr. Fithriyyah Shalihati, S.E., M.M., which integrates digital marketing and consumer psychology perspectives to explain impulsive buying behavior and financial well-being. Meanwhile, Dr. Agustina Widi Palupiningrum, S.E., M.M. is developing an innovation model for conservation area management through the integration of conservation and business using a multi-stakeholder approach in Komodo National Park.
Under the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Scheme (Ri-Sora), Dr. Asaduddin Abdullah, B.Sc., M.Sc. received funding for a study focused on designing incentive mechanisms to encourage the adoption of circular economy practices within the banana supply chain in Cianjur, West Java. In the Frontier Research Scheme, Dr. Raden Dikky Indrawan, S.P., M.M. is conducting research on a value chain governance model for tropical agricultural residues based on bio-material cascading from Musa acuminata.
The wide range of funded research topics reflects the strong research capacity of the School of Business IPB University in generating knowledge that is relevant to development needs and the evolving business landscape.
