CEO Forum at SB IPB: Strategies for Surviving and Thriving in the Era of Digital Transformation

Bogor, 4 December 2025 — The IPB University School of Business once again organized its CEO Forum as part of its effort to strengthen practice-based learning for students. The event featured Dr. Joko Rurianto, a CX Specialist at PT Telkomsel and also a Professional Lecturer at ISTN, as the main speaker. The forum was designed to provide direct insights from an industry practitioner regarding the dynamics of digital transformation, which continues to evolve rapidly. The involvement of industry professionals reflects SB IPB’s effort to provide learning that is relevant to the current needs of the business world.

Carrying the theme, “Thriving Amid Digital Transformation: Proven Approaches to Drive Growth, Innovation, and Competitive Advantage,” the forum explored strategies for companies in facing increasingly complex digital change. Dr. Joko Rurianto shared perspectives on how organizations can drive growth, strengthen innovation, and create sustainable competitive advantage. The discussion also highlighted the importance of customer experience as one of the key factors in winning competition in the digital era. The practical approaches presented provided a real picture of strategy implementation in industry.

The CEO Forum was conducted online on Thursday, 4 December 2025, and was attended by students from classes E93 and E94. Interaction between the speaker and participants was expected to encourage a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities in digital transformation. Students were also given the opportunity to raise questions and engage in direct discussion with a practitioner who has experience in the telecommunications industry. This enriched the learning process, which was based not only on theory, but also on practice.
