Enhancing Academic Literacy, SB IPB University Holds Mentoring Class on Similarity and AI Index

Sekolah Bisnis IPB University held a Mentoring Class titled “Understanding Similarity and AI Index” on October 17, 2026, featuring Irma Elvina, S.Sos., M.P. as the speaker. The activity was part of SB IPB University’s efforts to strengthen the academic community’s understanding of technology use in academic writing while upholding academic integrity.

During the session, participants gained insights into techniques for reducing the similarity index and using artificial intelligence (AI) wisely and responsibly in academic writing. The discussion highlighted the importance of understanding text similarity reports and using AI as a supporting tool without compromising originality or academic ethics.
