SB IPB University Explores Opportunities for International Academic and Research Collaboration with the National University of Singapore (NUS)

Bogor, 6 April 2026 — The IPB University Business School welcomed a delegation from the National University of Singapore (NUS) as part of an initial effort to explore academic cooperation. The meeting marked an important first step in opening up opportunities for international collaboration, while also reinforcing SB IPB University’s commitment to advancing higher education that is adaptive, relevant, and globally oriented.

The visit featured academic discussions on various opportunities for collaboration in education and research. The exchange of ideas between the two institutions took place in a warm and productive atmosphere, with a focus on developing joint programs that could add value to the academic community. One of the potential areas of collaboration explored during the meeting was the development of a double degree program as part of efforts to broaden students’ international learning experience.

As part of the series of activities, a guest lecture entitled System Design Under Uncertainties was also delivered by Prof. Mabel Chou from NUS. The lecture offered academic perspectives that enriched participants’ understanding, particularly in relation to the importance of system design and decision-making amid increasingly dynamic and complex uncertainties.

Through this meeting, the IPB University Business School reaffirmed its seriousness in building impactful global academic networks. Collaboration with internationally reputable institutions such as NUS is expected to strengthen the learning and research ecosystem at SB IPB University, while also supporting the growth of innovation, networks, and broader academic experiences for its academic community.
