Covid-19 a ‘A blessing in disguise’

In recent months Covid-19 has become the most popular word. How can not all feel the impact of Covid-19. City people, country people to the world. Family businesses to giants are all no exception. All “as if” the world order is already good, filled with many smart people and scientists, controlled by large companies with the latest technology and supported by an economic system which is said to have been established. But in fact everything “disappeared” when said late. Bung Didi Kempot. Everything seemed to be “silent” when Covid-19 broke out. Not without effort but helpless. No medicine has yet been found, the impact is inevitable. There is a term A blessing in disguise, in this case I interpret it as a blessing in disguise, it means something that at first looks bad or unpleasant, but turns out later on, produces something good.

Lately, people have started to realize and concentrate on the following things.

  1. Cleanliness is underestimated, so now the precedence,
  2. the government takes what, they say, is seen as helpless.
  3. Imported products are deified, now local products are missed.
  4. Working in the office is a motivator now working at home is a buffer.
  5. Crude oil becomes wetlands as if it were rubbish (of no value)

Some people say that the existence of Covid-19 is a moment to reorganize this world. It seems that this opinion is not too wrong. The world order and the country which are currently considered to be established actually need to rethink their existence. Crisis everywhere indicates that something is wrong in ordering the world. Reformer systems and movements begin to emerge towards the point of “new equilibrium”.

Changes in the new world order will emerge with various opportunities and innovations. This plague should at least awaken and awaken us. The government must be aware that in managing this country it must be comprehensive and integrated, not only from economic and political perspectives, but health, social, social, environmental, religious, and family life factors must be considered collectively.

The public must be increasingly aware of the importance of cleanliness. Another thing we should be aware of and be grateful for is that social life is beautiful, a few weeks at home without intense interaction is already very boring. Sharing the benefits between each other actually makes life more meaningful. On the other hand we also have to realize that at home we have a family, they still miss us at home. It turns out that at home can also be productive. Plague realizes that we must live in a balance between family and society.

For business people, the plague recognizes us that uncertainty will always be there. What is certain is the uncertainty. Even though many businesses have collapsed, this outbreak provides an opportunity for the emergence of new businesses that have not previously been thought of or were not thought of or underestimated. New business models and types will emerge in line with the adaptation of business people.

Academics must be aware that demanding and developing knowledge is never ending. It turns out that the existing and developing knowledge, both concepts, methods, systems and developed expertise, have not been able to answer what this viral cure means, which means we must continue to seek knowledge while having the courage to evaluate what is already running. Alhamdulillah, many new thoughts and expertise have begun to emerge due to the outbreak of this disease which hopefully will provide blessings and safety not only for the world but also for the hereafter.

It can be concluded that the Covid-19 outbreak is an A blessing in disguise, where on the one hand this outbreak must become our muhasabah and must continue to strive to accept, try and find a solution. On the other hand, this epidemic must be used as a moment for the formation of a “new balance” in which the emergence of a resurrection and a new way of ordering the world in the right order (redesign the future of the world).

The final note and the estuary of all of this is that we must realize that we, the community and the country, must not be proud of what we get today, we must be aware of who we are, there is still a sky above the sky. Uncertainty will continue to exist, what is certain is only the destiny of Allah. We must keep doing our best in accordance with His rules and accept the results with thanks to him.
