SB IPB Undergraduate Students Wins Economic Fair
Muhammad Azman (Akt.54 Bachelor of Business Study Program) won 1st place in the Economic scientific writing competition fair at Andalas University Padang on March 1 – 04 2020. Azman is in a team with Muhamad Raafi Thahirah (Vocational Computer Engineering 54) and Putri Gayatri (SKPM 55) with scientific papers themed “Techno Empowerment”.
The contestants came from several universities others such as the University of Semarang, University Andalas, University of North Sumatra, University Jambi, and the University of Riau. As for the participants who won 2nd place from the State University Semarang while the 3rd winner is from the University Andalas.
Azman and Team made this competition as a place to train yourself, build relationships and exchange ideas with many friends from participating universities. Every effort we will not betray the results. Whatever we’re doing there will be a warranty promised. The spirit is always great.
OPEN HOUSE MASTER PROGRAM (S2) SB-IPB
IPB Business School held Open House Activities for Master Program (S2) Management and Business on Saturday, March 7, 2020 in the Pelican Room Building C, IPB Business School Campus. This activity implemented specifically to get to know more closely about the SBIPB Master of Management and Business Study Program and generally about the IPB Business School Campus. Participants are prospective registrants and seekers information from the general public who register online as participants in the Open House. Participants get information about the full program and also conduct a question and answer session. This activity was initiated by the Admissions and Public Relations of SB-IPB

ABEST Business School Professional Student Association (Association of Business and Entrepreneurship Students) presents MARKET LAB 1.0 with the theme “Journey” today (7/3) in the Park Building A Campus IPB Business School.
This activity presented young entrepreneurs with IPB business degrees. This activity is also a forum for discussion with consumers improve product quality. Some of the products being marketed are innovative products of SB-IPB undergraduate students.
SB-IPB Received Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA)’s Visit
SB IPB, BOGOR – School of Business – IPB University received Mr. Kozono Masanori’s visit from Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) which based in Jakarta on March 6, 2020.
The visit was welcomed by the Dean (Prof. Dr. Noer Azam Achsani, MS) and two lecturers of SB-IPB (Dr. Siti Jahroh, B.Sc, M.Sc and Dr. Raden Dikky Indrawan, SP, MM). The meeting discussed possibility of research cooperation on Food Value Chain as well as establishing networking with several countries in ASEAN in carrying out joint research.
ERIA will conduct a study related to Food Value Chain (FVC) which focuses on the development of cold chains. The title of this study is “Realization of higher added value of agricultural products in ASEAN countries through the development of an effective cold chain”.
Comparative Study of the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) to SB-IPB
IPB Business School received a comparative study visit from the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) on March 05, 2020. The visit was welcomed by the Deputy Dean of Academic and Student Affairs (Dr. Idqan Fahmi), Head of S1 Study Program (Dr. Hartoyo) and Lecturers of SB-IPB (Prof. Ujang Sumarwan and Agustina Widi SE, MM). Comparative study in order to share about the curriculum of the IPB Business School undergraduate program (S1). Activities is an effort to strengthen cooperation between universities and exchange information in order get input for both parties.
Dean of SB IPB Becomes a Resource Person in the Data Panel In-House Training (IHT) Econometrics Bank Indonesia Institute
Dean of the IPB Business School (Prof. Noer Azam Achsani) became one of the resource persons / lecturers in In-House activities Econometrics Data Panel Training (IHT). This activity held by the Bank Indonesia Institute on 05 March 2020. The IHT was carried out in order competency development of related Bank Indonesia employees econometrics.
SB-IPB Establishes cooperation with Bank Indonesia Balikpapan
IPB Business School in collaboration with Bank Indonesia Balikpapan held discussion activities at 01 March 2020. This activity was carried out to discuss the impact of moving the capital city State (IKN) for Balikpapan and strategic food supply chain in Balikpapan as a buffer city Upcoming IKN. In addition, the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) is based digital is also a topic of discussion in the context of developing the potential of MSMEs in Balikpapan.

Students of Management and Business Masters Study Program won the TOP 20 BRI Hackathon Competition
Students of the R61 Master of Management and Business Study Program (M.Ridho and Adhyarya) won the TOP 20 in the 2020 BRI Hackathon (hacking marathon) with the theme “Supporting Indonesia Digital Economy based on Small Medium Enterprises (SME) for Indonesia BRIlian” at 10- 11 February 2020 in Jakarta.
Bank BRI collaborates with Google Indonesia to gather technology activists to build applications or platforms in a matter of hours as a solution to problems in the MSME sector. Participants from students, start-up activists, freelancers and digital technology activists. Ridho & Adhy carried out their start-up called berbagiberkah.id.
Later selected technology activists will be invited to collaborate with BRI through the BRIAPI (BRI Application Programming Interface) platform and Google Cloud in building a technology platform for the development of MSMEs in Indonesia.
IRMAPA and SB-IPB cooperate in organizing international conferences
IPB Business School received 2 visits to IRMAPA (Indonesia Risk Management Professional Association). This visit (12/2/20) was follow-up to the first visit, namely exploration cooperation between SB and IRMAPA. In the opportunity, it was agreed on the cooperation of the Conference Organization International which will be held in the middle of the year 2020. The purpose of this cooperation is in addition to improving publications from all parties, also make activities it bridges between practitioners and academics at risk management.
This visit was welcomed by the SB-IPB Conference Team, including Dr. Siti Jahroh, Dr. Dikky Indrawan and several SB-IPB lecturers and support staff. From IRMAPA attended, including Mr. Charles R. Vorst (Secretary General of IRMAPA), and Mr. Ivan Lanin with the team. Besides that, Dr. Ir. D.S. Sony Priyarsono, MSc (Professor of IPB).
SB-IPB Explores Cooperation between PT. Pendidikan Maritim dan Logistik Indonesia (PMLI)
IPB Business School (SB-IPB) visited PT. Pendidikan Maritim dan Logistik Indonesia (PMLI) (10/02/2020). This activity aims to initiate or explore cooperation between SB and PMLI related to Port, Shipping, and Logistics in Indonesia. This activity was represented by Dr Dikky Indrawan, MM and Andina Oktariani, MSi is an SB-IPB lecturer. This visit begins with sharing between the two parties regarding information initial as a material for future cooperation.
